Wired magazine visual essays

The near decade-long series of visual essays for Wired appeared as three spreads in the front of the magazine, the last spread being the table of contents. The objective was to create a relevant visual context for the new ideas that continually appeared in the magazine. Topics ranged from mass media, warfare and finance to design, music and philosophy.

All projects conceived and designed by Erik Adigard, M-A-D, except issue 1.1 designed with John Plunkett, Creative director on all issues shown here. Wired magazine was conceived by Louis Rossetto, Jane Metcalfe, John Plunkett and Barbara Khur. The PUSH issue cover was designed by Erik Adigard and Thomas Schneider

Related works include many projects for WiredDigital.
