LARGER VIEW
M-A-D is an interdisciplinary design agency with expertise in branding, interaction design and visual communications. Our experience is based on 20 years of ongoing discovery, innovation and collaboration with our clients across a broad range of industries and media. With our pool of contributing experts we are able to economically scale to resolve a variety of client needs.
We have learned to mix brand voices, syntax and signs with business strategies to conceive iconography, narratives, information structures and complex design systems with a full range of delivery touch points: brand positioning and product definition, content strategy, naming, imagery, editorial and collateral design, packaging, websites, web apps, device GUI, multimedia, media installations, exhibits, environmental and advertising. We routinely oversee production phases such as website coding, user testing, printing and on-site installations.
In addition to helping our clients achieve success, our work has also continued to draw international recognition for its stylistic, conceptual and innovative contributions to the world of design. M-A-D won the Chrysler Award for Innovation in Design for its contributions to the emerging field of digital media and is frequently featured in major international exhibitions, film festivals and publications, such as The Sundance Film Festival, the Denver Art Museum, the Pasadena Museum of Art, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, the Wellcome Trust in London, the Toronto International Airport, and Meggs’ History of Graphic Design.
