The theme of the 2005 CFP (Computers, Freedom & Privacy) conference was Panopticon.
Surveillance has increased dramatically since 9-11. This conference addresses the effect this “increase in intelligence” has had on ordinary citizens as well as discusses alternative approaches to the threat of terrorism.
