The theme of the 2005 CFP (Computers, Freedom & Privacy) conference was Panopticon.

Surveillance has increased dramatically since 9-11. This conference addresses the effect this “increase in intelligence” has had on ordinary citizens as well as discusses alternative approaches to the threat of terrorism.

CFP 2005 Panopticon conference poster was created as a fluorescent diamond warning sign shape to be posted in multiples on streets and at universities. Section 215 text from the Patriot Act II—which pertains to survellaince—runs under the stencil cut-out Panopticon word.
